Why I’m Running

I’ve dedicated my career to standing up for people who too often don’t have a voice. As a public defender, I fought for fairness in the courtroom. In public service, I worked to hold institutions accountable and ensure that everyone was treated with dignity. Those experiences taught me a simple truth: when government works for the people, communities grow stronger.

Now, I’m running for the House of Delegates to bring that same commitment to fairness, accountability, and opportunity to Annapolis. Our district deserves a representative who understands the struggles of working families and who is ready to fight for them every day. That means investing in excellent public schools, protecting workers’ rights, supporting small businesses, and ensuring that quality healthcare is within reach for every Marylander.

This campaign is about more than politics—it’s about building a future rooted in community, opportunity, and belonging. Together, we can make Howard County a model of progress, where every resident has a fair chance to succeed and every voice is heard.
